About

About Adele

I have always been a real foodie and it was never unusual for me to be found in the kitchen experimenting on something to impress friends and family. It wasn’t until my daughters 1st birthday that I made my first celebration cake and as much to my surprise as everyone elses, I found a talent I didn’t know existed. Cake making swiftly turned into a hobby with friends and family requesting cake favors regularly.

In 2009 I took the plunge and left my job as a computer programmer. I decided to focus on being a mum to my 2 young children and to launch a new business that fitted perfectly around the needs of my family.

After over 4 years of being my own boss, I am now in the enviable position of having one of the happiest jobs in the world. I meet so many lovely people planning happy events and am able to completely indulge my girlie side in terms of flowers, lace, ribbons, beads and anything that sparkles.

What Is Different about Me?

Working from home, my attention to detail is second to none. I am, as most people who know me would confirm, somewhat of a perfectionist. Because of this, order numbers are always limited to ensure each cake gets the time and attention that it deserves.

I believe that whilst your cake needs to have that wow factor in terms of looks, it is after all for one purpose, and that is eating. My cakes are as much about taste as they are about design and they taste as good as they look.

Just as every celebration is different, so is every cake. You can choose from a wide range of cakes in my portfolio for inspiration, or meet with me to design a cake that will suit your personality and event theme. It’s your celebration so you can have your cake any way you like.

During a consultation we can discuss your celebration arrangements and gather ideas to design the perfect cake to suit your requirements and budget.

Every cake is baked using only top quality ingredients and free range eggs. All designs are created with the utmost care and attention to detail.
